Job Summary
The De-nester Machine Operator directly reports to the Production Supervisor. This position will perform the loading/unloading of eggs onto the MOBA machines. The position will require standing, bending, stooping, lifting, math skills and completion of production paperwork. This area is working around moving parts and will require the operator to have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading products into machine
- Loading cartons of eggs into de-nester machine
- Making sure printer is on and operable
- Formatting printer to proper time and date formats
- Proper housekeeping of work area(s)
- Ensures equipment performs in an efficient manner.
- Monitors process to ensure quality of product is maintained during the loading/unloading process.
- Always maintain productivity levels.
- Communication with Production Supervisor/Lead of any issues impacting production.
- Track and log production numbers.
- Communicate materials used, and materials wasted.
- Communicate production discrepancies.
- Guage proper quality of products.
- Push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be able to comprehend instructions and retain information.
- Attendance and punctuality are required to be considered for this position.
- Any other duties as assigned.
