Job Summary
The Packer/Palletizer Operator directly reports to the Production Supervisor. This position will perform the packing and palletizing of eggs coming off of the MOBA machine. The position will require standing, bending, stooping, lifting, math skills and completion of production paperwork. This area is working around moving parts and will require the operator to have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Placing cartons on pallets or in boxes for further distribution
- Verifying that cartons of eggs are nor broken
- Confirming dates on side of carton are placed properly and dated correctly
- Confirming cartons are closed and stacked properly.
- Proper housekeeping of work area(s)
- Ensures equipment performs in an efficient manner.
- Monitors process to ensure quality of product is maintained during the loading process.
- Always maintain productivity levels.
- Communication with Production Supervisor/Lead of any issues impacting production.
- Track and log production numbers.
- Communicate materials used, and materials wasted.
- Communicate production discrepancies.
- Guage proper quality of products.
- Push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be able to comprehend instructions and retain information.
- Attendance and punctuality are required to be considered for this position.
- Any other duties as assigned.
